Charlie and Gayle Anderson from Manchester were enjoying their retirement in the tropical paradise of Jamaica. Then almost 12 weeks later, both were found dead at their Jamaican home. Khuram Shaikh faced danger every day working for the Red Cross in war torn areas around the world. Shaken by the London Terror Attacks in July 2005, new couple Jeremy Lakin and Annalie Vickers made the decision to get out of the capital and take a trip to the tranquil paradise of Sharm El Sheikh in Egypt. In 2009, 22-year-old Nixiann Downes-Clack returned to the island paradise of Grenada from London. Joining her was her British boyfriend Alex who wanted them to start a new life together on this idyllic Caribbean Island. On the surface, this seemed a happy relationship. The couple married and had their first child, but secretly Nixiann was the victim of a sustained campaign of physical and emotional abuse at the hands of her husband.
