How dare this bullyish woman search for her roots, when she has supported the adoption system in Florida WHICH DENIES ADOPTEES THE RIGHT TO THEIR OWN. How dare she as an adoptive mother who elected closed adoption further hurt her adopted children and all adopted people by flaunting her self-centered act in our faces by being on this tv show. Mention must be made of her horrific brother as well, who had the GAUL to say to a group of birthmothers exposing the lie of birthmother privacy and who were picketing against closed adoption records that he will never let the records be open or support open records, while he fights for gay rights.
People like the O'Donnell's use adopted children who are already used as a commodity by the adoption industry as one for their own agenda. That is unforgivable and a form of child abuse. I in turn, will NEVER support gay rights and all adoptees and birthmothers should follow suit.

I love this show and how it sheds light on how valuable knowing your ancestry is and what joy it can bring your life. When are new episodes coming back! I want to see this show again!

I think I would enjoy this show even if the people featured were no celebrities. I love to watch other people discover their histories.

They are on a show though. The celebrities probably got asked to do this. And plus have you ever researched your family history without any help? It's not so easy.
