There's not much mystery left to the story of disappearance of the Mayans. They succumbed to war & destruction of their environment & abandoned their cities. Their civilization destroyed itself. It's not the mystery it was 40 years ago.

It's a matter of requiring substantial & real evidence & being willing to change your mind. The scientific method is particularly helpful. Too often in these times, experts with reams of research and evidence are brushed off by individuals with opinions & nothing more. No one knows everything,but we must follow the evidence, and the evidence we collect from vast amounts of research & observation allows us to understand a universe far beyond our moon.
