1. For one Ramona is not a saint. She's the exact opposite. She treats the people that are "beneath" her like garbage. This makes her a snob. And she is a judgmental hypocrite for finding fault in others that she commits herself. She's a pretentious elitist that is often very offensive with her words. I also think she might be suffering from some sort of mental problem. A tyrannical narcissistic complex and manic disorder. I hope she gets help.
Ramona has no right to call anyone else a bad mother or question their parenting skills because Ramona seems to be an alcoholic. And alcoholism doesn't seem like a perfect mother parenting skill. So Ramona shouldn't throw stones.2. Alex is not a martyr. Alex causes the very dramas that she rallies her forces (Simon) against. Alex likes playing the victim because she really has no story and is very boring to watch without conjuring up another dilemma to object to. This allows Alex to look like the hero which feeds her ego. That's why she takes on other people battles. It's not because she cares. It's because she has a hero complex and feels that she is nothing without it.
And apparently we have been feeding her hero ego too much because now she thinks that she has the best genetic beauty that breeding has to offer. There was another someone in history who was obsessed with genetic superiority, his name was Hitler. I think Alex needs to dial it back a notch.
