The Real Housewives of Atlanta

I'm probably Bravo's biggest fan. I started watching their channel non stop when they created their first primetime show "The Real Housewives of Orange County"... and I've been behind them 100% ever since.However with The Real Housewives of Atlanta Bravo has proven themselves to be desperate, sad, and might I add slightly tacky. As an Atlantan with a diverse group of friends I must say that this show really doesnt infuriate my black friends-- to the point where NONE of them watch this trash. And to be honest I think no educated black person with class watches this... its more of show for ghetto people thats why I think it belongs on BET.My mother is an Atlanta socialite, she's white, but she has friends who are asian, black , and hispanic. And I think the show could have easily found classier women with a diverse group of friends... but instead they found an ex stripper from Athens (a redneck country town), a boujee 'sorta hood' woman from Ohio, and a few others.This show makes Atlanta looks bad and is far from the truth. I hope they drop everyone from the show except Kim and Lisa and find new members-- another white woman, another black woman, and maybe an asian or I guess another black woman-- like Deshawn Snow (they could bring her back).And honestly people like to call shows that have no black people racist, I find shows that perpetuate negative black stereotypes to be racist. Some may say that I'm out of my place, but I'm being honest and candid. I think the show does more harm than good. It's disgusting and an embarrassment to my native city.

These woman are cattier and more vain than ever in Episode 2. The newly divorced one throws herself a party and unveils an enormous, 10 x 12 foot photograph of herself. They don't support each other either. All the backstabbing and not showing up to each other's parties. Their parties are pretty pointless too, just more tributes to their vanity. They are so petty and not actually friends, more like frenemies. The only decent one is the new one, the singer, songwriter. She has actual talent and she's very supportive of the phony slutty, adulterous one that cannot sing. She seems like someone who knows how to be a real friend and gets caught off guard by these low class types. But it makes for good trashy reality TV.
