Take four devoted young couples and transport them to an exotic island. When they get there, separate them for twelve days by sending them off to opposite ends of this paradise in the sun. Then, for good measure, surround the male partners with 13 beautiful, single, bikini-clad "temptresses"; and the women with 13 gorgeous, square-jawed guys, each hand-picked to test their fidelity to the absolute limit. When you've done that, consider whether by the end of the experience, the same couples will still want to stroll off into the sunset together, or whether it is more likely they'll be in the arms of another. Ask yourself the simple, million-dollar question: can love survive the emotional roller coaster ride that is TEMPTATION ISLAND? Apart from the enforced separation, the couples also face a number of other challenges. Not only are they constantly surrounded by available and desirable singles on a mission to tempt them, but they must also go on romantic dates with them too.
