Whether intentional or not, this show points out one of the truths of how healthy relationships work. In a healthy relationship there has to be some uncertainty, there has to be some privacy. You must "walk the knife edge" as the Conscious Love points out. This show misleads the participants into a sham plot in which they supposedly figure out all the answers to their insecurities about their relationships. To any rational being this is obviously impossible, but to a human it is, well, tempting. The scheme shows little promise for actually promoting real fulfilling healthy relationships. To this end the show is somewhat interesting from an academic view point. From a cultural viewpoint though its utter trash, the participants are dumb as bricks and self indulgent beyond words. For those reasons the show of course strikes a chord with the masses who of course mostly share those same traits and of course share all the same insecurities in their own relationships. All that said, its half way enjoyable to watch, check errr out.
