This has been the topic of several movies and a PC game that has been around for quite awhile now. In this one film, I lady goes back in time and kills Hitler as a baby, leaving a little jewish boy in his place, NOTHING CHANGES! World War II still happens, and "Hitler" still initiates the Holocaust.
In the PC game I mentioned, Command & Conquer; Red Alert, Albert Eisenstein goes back in time and removes Hitler from the time stream, before Hitler came to power.
World War II still happens, except this time its Soviet Russia that tries to take over the world. And in this "Alternate Timeline" the war is even worse, it lasts twice as long, and many more people die, and the war never really stops.
Yuri, a Russian general (or some kind of big wig) escapes the aftermath of Soviet Russia's downfall, and continues to be a pain in the but for the entire world for close to two hundred years.
What I am saying is that these tales are way time travel to change the past is pointless, because whatever you did already happened, and you can't change it; and conversely you can make it even worse then it was originally.   See 9 other replies

If cows had the ability to fight back and kill humans, then I think they would. They aren't killing and torturing the wraith and because they are a-holes, but because the wraith would eat and kill them if they could without hesitation.

Seems to me the were doing the exact opposite. The Wraith were nothing like the Goa'uld, and there was this sense of desperation that SG-1 didn't really rely on for the whole of it's series. If anything, SG:A felt more like classic Star Trek, than SG-1. As far as bad acting goes, only Mamoa was a bad actor. And really, for his role, all he needed to do was scream when appropriate.   See 7 other replies

Oh no, I am not clouded by SG:1 love. In fact SG:U is my favorite of the franchise. SG:A was just cheesy-er with worse acting and actors and had was basically recycled SG:1 formula. The new setting and the new characters weren't enough to give it it's own identity. It felt like they were trying to capture SG:1 style and it just didn't work(for me). They should have dared to be different, like SG:U. Sure SG:U didn't last but that was in large part due to SyFy being terrible at what they do.   See 7 other replies

You would be in a very small minority. For a lot of folks, SGA was their favorite. They were a great, but different set of characters. You can't let your love of the original, bias you against the quality of something different.   See 7 other replies
