Naruto

I'm fairly new to anime, only finished 4 animes over the course of 2 years. Anywho, Naruto is for sure my favorite of them! This anime is FULL of action, intense battles, AWESOME attacks and abilities, teary eye moments, some love stories and....a lot of beating around the bush! Aside from all the great things about this show, the first negative thing new viewers will recognize is that the show drags along at parts. I remember the second major battle scene on the hidden mist village bridge. That whole battle seriously took a good 5 episodes to end that piece when i'm sure the manga finished it in one book. During the 5 episodes, I remember telling my self "wow...I don't know how much more of this I can take...?". But to you new viewers, It might be slow at times, but once you see it, YOU JUST CAN"T STOP!!! A lot of the slow parts are when they are in intense battles. During the middle of them, one character would say something all the others wouldn't expect. The next 30 seconds of video would be of the camera panning around looking at the other characters as they suddenly make blank/scarred/worried faces and make the "uh", "mhm" "ooo", "ah" sounds like as if saying "omg...I can't believe they said that...I may just kill myself now". And sure enough, I could bet this happens 2-4 times each episode. I do know that anime has a lot of emotion, some overdramatic and some not, but Naruto does like taking its time in these situations. If not taking up video time with over hyped emotions, it wastes time by having still framed images with hardly anything happening in them for 5-10 seconds at a time, many episodes having lots of them. Although it might seem like i'm being negative, I'm just stating the ONLY bad thing about this show!Even though it's slow at times, the awesome fighting, abilities, very likable character, love and teary eye moments will keep you HOOKED!To all people new to this show, You won't regret ever watching this! I recommend this show to everyone looking for a good anime. Naruto...5 Stars...Hands Down
