Just I've noticed that in the USA, They can't makeup their own stuff. They COPY mostly every show from other countries & do a complete spin-off of them. Luckily the human body has an amazing capacity for sight, specifically peripheral vision. I prefer the subbed anime over the dubbed because save for a few choice English speaking voice actors, MOST DUBBED ANIME SUCKS!!! The Actors are almost all deadpan, they can't hit the laugh lines, they mispronounce words constantly, they lack the ability to properly express emotion with their words alone. The only animes I have been able to watch in english and enjoy just as much are One Piece, Naruto, and Bleach. These have spectacular acting, and virtually no mispronunciations as well. Now, the japanese speaking voice actors are ALL spectacular. I have never heard one Japanese actor who did not give a spectacular performance. To reference what I said at the beginning, peripheral vision is so easily utilized that im surprised you didnt notice it for yourself. Watch enough subbed anime and you'll no longer miss any of the action in the scene. Your eyes will be able to read the subs in sinc. with the action. Thats what makes subbed episodes so much greater than the majority of dubbed. Better acting, just as easy to read the subs as to hear the english. Also, after a while you begin to understand the japanese. I am almost fluent in it. But, I'm 17 and have no life, so maybe that's just me.   See 6 other replies

I have found that hardcore anime fans know that Subtitles are far superior. But, the rest of us in the human race find them a pain in the antomical location! Why would I want to have to read the line in tiny print in the bottom of the scene when I can actually hear the line and enjoy the show that much more? No more missing sight gags. No more mistimed jokes. It is actually like a real show, not some annoying mutant book / tv. I remember the anime clubs in College, I went everyweek, we used to read English printed scripts while watching the shows. Then, an amazing innovation, Subtitles. We didn't need to look at a piece of paper then the scene. Then we ended the Golden Age, we had dubbed shows. We could actually watch them like shows where MEANT to watched. Why go back to the Medieval Age of Anime? So, you see, I am a HARDCORE Anime fan, but I am one that is not some snob, who wants to stay in the strange niche of Subtitled Movies for ever. Get with the 21st Century. Dubbed anime is accessable to LOTS of viewers, not just the hardcore subtitle fans, who sicken me with their freaky elitist snobby of wanting to have all anime subtitled. Hulu please bring back dubbed anime so all of us normal people can actually watch these shows and enjoy them.   See 6 other replies

You know I do like subbed better than dubbed as a whole but I get so irritated when I see people acting snobbish about the idea of watching an anime dubbed. I mean its a television show why should anyone ever be snobby about tv? I will never understand.this stuck up position some have.   See 6 other replies
