Very well put leah. I completely agree with you.

On a tangent note to that, I wish our gov would get involved and improve school lunches so they are more balanced towards nutrition if the school's receive any sort of gov funding. They do set guidelines but fail to check to see if its followed through.

It would be nice to know kids are getting at least one meal of nutritional value per school day, making up for poor families and parents who do not care. Instead of spending money on other countries etc. we need to put stock into our own children first.

Not ban stuff, but at least provide them with proper food.

Good for you, you made a choice and stuck to it. However if other parents are ok with their kids having snacks or what ever, Let them and mind your own business. I cant stand people who stick their nose into my business and tell me how i should or shouldn't do things. You wanna screw stuff up for others, get lost.
