Strong cast, mostly solid writing

Like any sitcom it depends largely on the actors. Nearly all of these people have proved themselves before and give no less than their best here.

The story is original and gives the show a edge. The comedy is strong but a little inconsistent at times.

This is a show that is easy to love. ^.^

There's still hope for TV sitcoms yet....

In a nutshell, the next Friends... great stories and great acting.... best sitcom on TV right now next to the Office!

One of the most underrated sitcoms ever

HIMYM is consistently funny, well acted, and touching. It's unfortunate that it got put on CBS, which is not known for young comedy, but I'm still glad the show is on the air somewhere. Everyone I've shown the show to has loved it, it just needs more promotion.
