In a bleak future where humanity is forced to live underground, a fourteen year-old boy named Simon is assigned the task of digging tunnels to expand his village. But Simon stumbles across a fantastic device, and with the help of many other friends, they use the robots power to fight against their oppressors and take back the surface.
I wish they would have the subbed up. It's an amazing series, but the dub just doesn't seem to capture the energy quite as well. I'm just sorta glad they put it up though since it is very popular. Between this and releasing the subbed version out early (for a cheap price at that) I think they are finally taking a step in the right direction to prevent pirating, one in which everybody wins.

Half the series is epic quotes. That was practically the whole premise. One guy at Gainax turned to the other and said 'why don't we make a mecha series where the robots are powered by awesome, and all the characters say awesome things to match'.

If you've watched the Code Geass dub, he voices Suzaku in that. (Incidentally, Lelouch and Rossiu also have the same VA, Johnny Yong Bosch, aka Vash the Stampede, Ichigo Kurosaki, Itsuki Koizumi, and a Power Ranger.)
