Grey's Anatomy

Cristina and Burke were my favorite couple--so passionate, tortured and complicated---very hot! Um, I don't think Burke overreacted at the wedding at all. In fact, think he reacted too late--although I LOVED their relationship. Burke basically had to give Cristina ultimatums and cajole her, while Meredith counseled and coached her throughout the entire engagement ! Cristina was trying to go along with it because yes, she loved Burke but she still had reservations about marrying him and hesitated up until she belatedly opened the doors of the sanctuary on their wedding day! All that time Burke was standing waiting for her at the altar in front of their wedding guests, his heart was breaking and he was being humiliated because as Kylee mentioned above "he didn't want to enter into a marriage if both he and Yang weren't in it for the long run". "Dark and twisty" Cristina was not fully convinced and committed to marriage and Burke, the optimist, refused to fool himself by starting off a marriage like that. I have to say that the final scene of a hysterical Cristina pleading for Meredith to help her as Mer cut her out of the wedding dress was tragically beautiful and brilliant and still haunts me today! I Especially love the Grey's of yore, but now I'm actually finding this season of Private Practice to be more compelling and exciting than Grey's!   See 4 other replies

I do think she is very intense all the time, but I think she can handle a boyfriend.
It was Burke who called of the wedding, but I think he over-reacted to the situation. She did pause, but she was going to go through with it.
I actually like her and Owen as a couple, but then Christina is one of my favorite characters.   See 4 other replies
