Gene Simmons: Family Jewels

This show is my favorite show!!! I don't care if its fake most reality shows are fake im not a bug fan of there music I dont hate it or love it i could listen to it if i wanted to I just love the show

rehearsed or not it still fun to watch, and besides who thinks that "reality" tv is real to begin with

It is very true what others have said about the show being scripted. If you look at some of the "people" on the series, they are actually actors from other shows, generally lesser known ones, but actor/actresses, nonetheless. Before it becomes scripted, however, it is an amazing show, after it is scripted, it, in the words of another reviewer, "insults the intelligence of the viewer."If anyone wants specific occurrences of the scripting that is present here, just ask and I'll post actual examples for everyone that are provable. It saddens and upsets me that Gene would have to change things around. The show is great, the family is wonderful, don't try to force us to believe that having a lot of money creates insane situations in your life. The "Enquirer" is not how all celebrities live. We are smarter than you treat us.

Not exactly sure when but it was a much better show until someone (Gene?), Gets involved with a more scripted show than reality, and turns into a show that insults the viewer. Think it was about the 3rd or 4th season, where you can tell it is scripted and appears rehearsed , that
anyone would even believe that things just happened to them, and well Shannon is not a good actress to even to attempt acting, and then she says on the show that she gave up her career, or what could have been , well If history tells us anything, of all the past playmates if fame and fortune is the goal, a few of the smart ones married well. and that is it, it is more of a cautionary tale then anything else. And only a few that come to mind ever of being rich and famous that started with playboy is Dorothy Stratton (because of the curiosity over her death,) and Anna Nicole Smith, The ##'S say it all I counted 10 with a possible 11, Suicide deaths; (Marilyn Monroe was never decided between death or suicide.) and looking at all the Playmates since the mag started there are only 3-5 that most ppl know who they are and or remember then. SO my question is this/ When Shannon leaves Gene, and I know it will happen unless he dies prior it is a matter of time, When will she leave? Although this season, although may ring true? But the viewer that has experienced the empty nest syndrome , so the show is somewhat believable
at the very least, but the series dragging out...... that Gene And Shannan are seperated for some time, although a certain time line is not evident, I find it impossible to believe that Gene at any time was living by himself for any longer than 1 week, either it is drawn out for the camera and viewers. in that case the emotions of gene with the shrink do ring true. I personally believe that whole situation resolved in no more than 1-2 weeks.
Tops. The viewer takes on the thought I know how this will end, Gene marrying Gene. But it is so drawn out with subplots of reunions with Gene and his family , etc. That I don't even care anymore what happens , but I think there is no happy ever after, Oh course Shannon will agree to marry the materialistic ,male hoe that Gene is , and god what an ego! But Shannon's love of the good life would never go on her own, Why does she care? Well they have been living together in the state of California that is a community property state, and have two children. married or if the situation ends Shannon gets Half of everything! Married or not married! Common law Wife is what Shannon is now. But for what ever reason she has taken his crap for so long, is she knows how Her bread is buttered, Shannon would only leave if she had already started another relationship with another man, who of course has a lot of $$$ and she actually loved. She Shows nothing but love and affection towards Gene,and everyone knows she will say " I DO." But it is too much too little to late , if Shannon Marries Gene it will be short lived. Too many bad feelings ruin those feelings of love a women has for a man, esp. after of pushing those feelings down for sooo long.

The so called," Relationship is Doomed, not matter what Gene Does now. Sorry Gene, you made your bed, but all the $$ spent on the Greedy Shannon, you will save money, even if you pay for it, Like Hef. Paying for companionship, DOn't care about the rest ,, in the End both are afraid of being alone, pathetic.
