Firefly

I posted a message not long ago about the stupidity of Fox for cancelling this show. I have seen many others do the same. This time I would like to say something else.Over the past 3 weeks I watched all 14 episodes. At least one a day and sometimes 2 a day and finished with the movie Serenity this evening. I fell very saddened now. Almost as if I have lost a loved one. I loved each and every charachter on this series and movie. Felt a kinship to them. They were like friends to me. I looked forward to seeing them every night...and now I can't. 1 season is just to rediculous to fathom. I haven't felt this sad about the end of a series since Sinefeld ended some years ago. To not be able to see Mal, Inora, Zoe, Jane and everyone else ever again (in new episodes)is causing me to grieve.I have also felt this way about Magnum P.I, The A-Team and even MacGyver and took me a long time to find 'new' friends to replace them. I guess what I'm trying to imply is that the other shows I had mentioned ran for 6 or 7 or more seasons...great shows in their own right, so how could this one possibly be only one season?....just dumb, but maybe also part of the lure.Goodbye friends...I will see you all again in the re-runs.
