I've seen the Longest Day a few times, one of the best WW II movies in my opinion, but then again I haven't seen many from the 1940s-1960s era. Thanks Hulu for yet another great ad... I hope the big boss gives a bonus to the man in charge of picking and rolling out your content.
As for the comments about how this or that movie isn't shown here, maybe you should send your suggestions to feedback [at] hulu dot com. Hulu is offering this stuff for free, people! Don't expect a collection of 8 modern-day blockbusters to show up in one day.
Good movies all (even von Ryan!). Might I suggest Stalag 17 and Bridge Over the River Kwai as a couple of worthy additions. Please keep up the good work!
great classics but one is missing. An absolutley great war movie,WINDTALKERS! this is one of the best war movies i've ever seen. There's action all the time.WW2 movie about the raid on iwo jima. Another is American soldiers, action alllll the time in that one. the longest period of time without action is probabley 5 seconds.
I remember seeing this when I was a kid and I loved it. Watching it again as an adult makes me appreciate it more and I can see why it made such a great impression on me. The acting, photography and story are great!
I love all these old war movies. They are getting harder and harder to find. Some may be black and white, some may have bad acting, i don't care, i like them all. More please.
great movie especially behind enemy lines. Still i can't believe "Saving Private Ryan" didn't make the list.
I loved the longest day
