Was his magnum opus. It was the most open, truthful, sad, and hilarious piece he has done and he went out on the highest note possible. I urge everyone to watch it as it gives you a window into genius that is rarely ever opened. I cried when George Carlin passed because he was a personal hero of mine. He's up there on my list with Yeshua, Lao Tzu, Bahadur, and Buddha. He will be missed.

What can you say about George Carlin? Very Funny ,Smart,Linguist,Writer, an American Hero! I remember George as a Great Speaker He could reel you in with No bait he was that good. He always used his mind You never was in doubt what was on it. I would watch him and suddenly I started to look at life differently- He was that way. And he knew that he was making everyone think. That's what he wanted!!! I do believe he believed in a higher being that made us. He just didn't say it openly Because it would get in the way of his message. There is alot to be learned from him. He was genuine that's for sure. I am better at speaking and writing and some say even funnier than I used to be because I listened to what the man actually said. You knew when he was serious and you knew when he was poking fun. He was an Original he will be Sorely Missed Thank You.

What an incredible transition through the ages. He was always timely and poignant. A part of all of us died when he passed. W gets elected twice, Carlin dies young- what a world!

I was sad at first when I heard of his passing, but then I started to laugh because I kept thinking that he would have something funny to say about his death and our reactions. He had this uncanny ability to make you smile while you learned something. Sometimes crude, rude, political, irreverent, controversial and always challenged your sensabilities regarding everyday things. Rest in Peace George. Now you can make God laugh. LOL he would probably tell me to go to hell. Love ya' George.

Not long after 9/11 George brought his unique stand up act to Birmingham, AL at the Alys Stephens Theater on the campus of UAB. I took my wife and her eldest daughter to the October performance and it was my early birthday present to myself. It was an amazing evening finally seeing him after listening to his LPs throughout the Seventies. There were plenty of un-hip people in the audience, presumably season ticket holders who did not realize what they were in for, but for the rest of us it was wonderful to see his body language as he did his routine. It is an evening I will also remember with fond memories of the original 'Class Clown." Thanks, George.

George Carlin was a great comedian... crazy as hell but straight forward with his ideas and opinions, and that is something we should all follow... not freedom of speech, but freedom of thinking, reacting, and exceeding any opinions, thoughts, and ideas that come to your head, not being hypocrite... just being sincere.
