as you can see, the title of this section is reviews. not "my pathetic, personal, thoughts about politics are important," so i'll tell you the entire episode is hilarious, especially baldwing bashing palin right in front of her, then hitting on her. the french def jam comedy was reaching a little, and perhaps a little hard to follow. magruber was disturbing, in a funny way (though i have to scrub my eyes now). and the sarah palin rap was absolutely hilarious. Props to palin for making her way through the entire episode with a smile and without saying anything that could get her in trouble. she was a little stiff, but she's not an entertainer so she did pretty good for a first timer; better than phelps (who wasn't that bad, but oh-yah he was [and i like him])
hey! that suspiciously looked like a review instead of a blog about my personal politics. that's strange.

Excellent episode. The new engagement character will be a funny character for future skits I'm sure. I've been waiting for a new Mcgruber skit and this was a pretty good one. A hard one to follow up on too considering the last hillarious Mcgruber skit with his gay son. In regards to jheart and his bogus comments: It's sooooo trendy to be a critic these days. Why not at least articulate your point of view with something meaningful if you're going to criticize something. I can understand people disliking the happening. Fine, M.Knights films are a love it or hate it sort of thing. I liked it. His last was an original concept and he did well. Everybody percieves and experiences things differently though obviously. When I read or watch something I put myself in the characters shoes. If one was caught in the sort of situation presented in the Happening it would be terrifying, wouldnt it?

It takes a thick skin & a sense of humor to survive in politics, so it's no surprise to find that Gov Palin has both. While Senators Clinton & Obama both had their turns on SNL, the jokes were not at their expense. Sarah Palin really stepped up & showed she can take a joke as well as anyone. Between John McCain's spot on Letterman - after providing a week's worth of material, and Palin's cameos on SNL, the GOP ticket has proved that they do have a sense of humor - and courage. Their good natured self-mocking hasn't been equaled since Richard Nixon went on Laugh In 40 years ago.
And since a large part of campaigning is getting the public's attention, they all succeeded spectacularly.
Speaking of not taking yourself too seriously, Mark Wahlberg was also great fun.

Wake up People! Most of the media is left biased! So to equal it out u have the media right.... FOX.
People are not stupid.....Just listen to both news ...they are both biased.
So listen to both sides, sift thru the biasis, get to the issue and make up your own mind. If you have get down to name calling to get your point across, you must not have enough points to prove your side of the opinion.... Listen to both sides and Just use your own brain and make a choice! Was this review helpful?

Mark Wahlberg was hysterical. Oh ya, and to you folks and your deeply interesting political debate. Presidents and VP's do not run this country lobbiests, corporations, and the FED do.
Wake up to that and you now have a stable foundation for change.

@sampost I think arpedalot was being sarcastic. The title of his post was "Idiot" - that might've been a give away.
