Ken C. commented on the review "the last episode, "Love me Dead", seemed much weaker than any previous."
Agreed. They lost the fun of the show. It used to be about the character's, now it's like they are trying to throw in as many twists as possible. They have these long sections of boring dialogue about why someone did something or they have Castle and Beckett painstaking tell us the latest twist in the story. They also seem to be rehashing old CSI plots. It used to be fun to watch, a post-modern comedic take on the procedural cop show, now it's too serious. It's like you want to sit down with the writer and cover basics in dialogue writing and remind them it used to be a fun show. Much more like this and I'll stop watching.
