Description

For as long as he can remember, Ichigo Kurosaki has been able to see ghosts. But when he meets Rukia, a Soul Reaper who battles evil spirits known as Hollows, he finds his life is changed forever when Rukia transfers most of her powers to him. Now a Soul Reaper himself with a newfound wealth of spiritual energy, Ichigo discovers his true calling: to protect the living and the dead from evil. But when Rukia's actions are called under scrutiny, Ichigo and his friends must put everything on the line to prepare to save their friend from the harsh justice of the Soul Society.

also, you have to remember that not only is ichigo a soul reaper, he's also a powerhouse. he leaks his own spirit energy, and he has a physical body.

Dub vs. Sub

I disagree, I like the dubbed versions of most Anime shows much better than the Subtitle version. It's all personal preference of course. But case in point, Naruto. I watched the Sub version and the voices don't seem to match all of their personalities, maybe it's just me. The dubbed versions seem much better. I have watched some of the subbed versions of Bleach and they are alright, but again, I prefer the dubbed version better.

Overall, I think Bleach is a really interesting Anime show and truly recommend it. But start from episode one if you can. It may be a bit slow in the beginning but it get's much better.

dubbed vs. subtitles

Do the user who is waiting for the dub, DON'T. Anime in the OG format is ALWAYS better. True you have to read but the voices match teh original intention. (look at Naruto dubbed vs. sub and you will see what i mean). One of my faves up there w/ Claymore, Macross, and the Gundam Seed series.

subtitles

I was debating on whether or not to watch this show when I saw it had subtitles, I automatically decided no, although the show looks interesting. It's a television show, I'd rather watch it then read it.

LOVE IT!!!

I WANT MORE!!!!! lol. this is a really good series. nothing overly dramatic. good artist skills. and unlike the DBZ series and a few others, the art work doesnt change throughout the episodes.
