I'm gettings whiffs of West Wing, Parks and Recreation, and a bit of The Office. I like what I'm smelling.

Battleground proves you can have believable characters, an engaging story, and not have to pander to get the audience to like you. The show has a charm and ease that is a welcome change from the usual network bombastic approach. Hopefully the show will continue to gain momentum as the characters evolve. Good work, Hulu. Also, Ben Samuel is magic.

Not exactly. It's a political comedy, while The Office is about...an office. It is funny, like The Office, but that's a good thing. Sure, they borrow the same interview style as the office, but their humor is much more dry and less outrageous.
