Archie Evolves

All the years of fighting with Mike and Glorida paid off. Also Edith's death transformed Archie into a more tolerant loving person..

Not as good as All in the Family

All in the family was a ground breaking TV show. It dealt with every aspect of American society at the time and was always relevant. Archie was a most outlandish character and was one of the best ever in the history of television. Unfortunately, by the time he was doing this show (Archie Bunkers's Place) his character had drastically changed to a more sensitive, and frankly, more liberal person. It took the bite out of him and left his character far less entertaining.

Still, Carroll O'Connor was a great actor, and it will be good to see him, even in this muted form once again.

I remember watching the first episode "way back when"...... we were shocked, awed and amused !!!

Plus we learned alot about humankind and ourselves w/ each episode and they still stand tall today ..... TY Hulu !!!
