Do you want to say who told you that the fact that Mars and Jupiter warmed during the last sunspot cycle mean that the Earth's warming is due to sun spots? Are they scientists publishing their peer-reviewed findings in a reputable journal? If not why do you believe them? If so, what journal?This is what science in peer reviewed journals says: "Solar activity has shown little to no long term trend since the 1950's. Joe - Please read my post again. I LIKED the SUN TEA EPISODE. My point was that its funny propaganda.The season opener sucked because it was PREACHY propaganda"Sun Tea" was funny because the show stayed in character.Al Gore is a con man, a huckster, nothing more. He BUYS CARBON CREDITS FROM HIMSELF.... The guy took a bribe in a literal brown paper bag from a Buddhist nun in Clinton's last campaign. The science shows global warming to be a scam. (Mars and Jupiter warmed during the last sunspot cycle. (Look up at that giant hydrogen bomb in the sky... that is the thing that warms the earth. When that big yellow round thing burns hotter, we get hotter. I wish libs would put act based on science instead of religion.)But you know what? I don't care if they worship AL Gore on "30 Rock," as long as they are funny while doing so.I will keep on watching Fox News, John Stewart, Colbert, Glen Beck, and 30 Rock.. I think this debate is akin to a mom saying, "Clean up your dirty room," and the kid going out and digging up mistakes and inappropriate things that their mom has done in the past to try to get out of it. The room is dirty, just clean it up. Casting doubt on your mom doesn't change anything.You think that scientists want the Earth to be warming or the air, water, and land to be polluted? You think hippies like recycling and making compost heaps and writing letters about sustainability? It's freaking annoying. We all want to lie around and eat chips, but the room is dirty and we need to clean it up.And there is of course the energy industry that is based on polluting that for some insane reason values money over their own lives and pays people to lie about scientific findings.   See 11 other replies

I'm not kidding. What part of scientists think that humans are causing our planet to warm which will melt polar ice caps and raise sea levels, and increase the violence in our weather systems don't you get? I don't mean to be mean, but you can only say that this is deemed a likelihood by the scientists who study this. If this is a likelihood then it would be like Kryptonians ignoring Superman's dad about their destruction of their planet. Of course here there are thousands of scientists from all over the world and every national and international science body who do not dispute global warming evidence.
