10 Things I Hate About You

They should keep some smart teen comedy like this going.
Now a days most teen comedy shows are just sex and nonsense dialogue

puh-lease. nothing beats heath ledger.

I am a sucker for these show and I hope they don't cancel cause I have really been looking forward to new episodes.

A lot of reviewers did not like this show in comparison with the original movie. I have seen the movie multiple times. In fact, I watched two episodes of this show and then watched a part of movie again. My feelings? This show is great. It has consistently hold my interest, over the five episodes that I watched in just two days.The major difference in the movie and a series is that, the movie has all the major strong features of the series gathered at place. Every episode has some great moments, and great writing, if you combine such great moments of 12 episodes into 1, what kind of effect will you get? A very impressive effect. That's what the movie has. I personally love this show, and look forward to watching more of it. First two episode seemed like poor acting from most cast members, except Larry Miller (Mr. Stratford), and Lindsay Shaw( Kat), but now I find it okay after watching 5 episodes. I think the actress, who played Bianca has improved a lot over 5 episodes.I like the show, because it allows me to continue enjoying the life and environment portrayed in the original movie. I expected the differences, and I enjoy it with a light heart.

For all of those booing this show because you have seen the movie, or see it as shakespeare, you are ruining the show for those of us who do not care about either. No show is ever as good as the movie, no movie is ever as good as the book. Your negative reviews based on thes criterion may take away a show my kids love. So, I suggest you either re-evaluate your opinion of the show based on the show itself, or keep your opinions to yourself. Even I can relate to the show from my own teenage years. I was Kat and I rode off with my first husband. It did not turn out like I would have liked but maybe by watching the show with my kids I can pretend. After all that is what these shows are for. Some reality, some identifying, and some make believe and wishful thinking. Our family gives this show 4 thumbs up!!!!
