Evan Goldberg

Executive Producer/Director

Evan Goldberg is a Canadian director, screenwriter and producer. Goldberg has collaborated with his childhood friend Seth Rogen on the films Superbad (which they first conceived of as teenagers), Knocked Up, Pineapple Express, The Green Hornet and Funny People. The duo has also written for “Da Ali G Show” and “The Simpsons.”

Most recently, Goldberg produced Sausage Party, a raunchy animated movie for adults about one sausage’s quest to discover the truth about his existence. This film has surpassed $100 million worldwide at the box office.

In 2013, Goldberg and Rogen released their directorial debut, This Is the End, the apocalyptic comedy starring Rogen, James Franco, Danny McBride, Craig Robinson and Jonah Hill.

In December 2014, Goldberg and Rogen’s film The Interview became the world’s most-talked-about news story — both on and off the entertainment page. In extremely difficult circumstances, the film persevered to become Sony Pictures’ No. 1 digital title of all time.

Goldberg was born in Vancouver, Canada, and attended McGill University.
