In early 2016, award-winning luminary Isabella Rossellini was cast as a series regular on the original Hulu drama series Shut Eye, alongside Jeffrey Donovan and KaDee Strickland.

In fall 2015, she received the Dallas Star from the Dallas Film Society on behalf of her eclectic work and contribution to the arts.

Rossellini was recently seen in David O. Russell’s Joy, starring opposite Jennifer Lawrence, Robert De Niro, and Bradley Cooper. The film was released by 20th Century Fox on December 25, 2015. Some of Rossellini’s additional film credits include: Enemy, Late Bloomers, Infamous, Two Lovers, The Saddest Music in the World, Left Luggage (earning her a special mention in excellence from the Berlin Film Festival), My Architect, Death Becomes Her, Big Night, Roger Dodger, Wild at Heart, White Nights, as well as Blue Velvet, which earned her an Independent Spirit Award for Best Female Lead.

In May 2015, Rossellini teamed up with Ovation TV for the television premiere of Isabella Rossellini’s Green Porno Live!. The documentary, which aired this past May, followed her on the international tour of her innovative one-woman show. In fall 2015, she also performed a tribute to Ingrid Bergman with Jeremy Irons in London and at BAM in New York; in Paris with Gerard DePardieu; and in Rome with Christian De Sica. The show celebrated the centenary of the birth of her mother, Ingrid Bergman, incorporating material from both her autobiography and correspondence.

On television, Rossellini earned a Golden Globe® nomination for Crime of the Century, as well as an Emmy® nomination for her work on Chicago Hope. Her additional TV credits include The Blacklist, 30 Rock, Alias, Napoleon, Merlin, Don Quixote, The Odyssey, Fallen Angels (in the episode “The Frightening Frammis”), and The Gift.

Since 2009, Rossellini has written, directed, and starred in a series of 40 short films about animals for The Sundance Channel called Green Porno. She received the Courage in Acting Award from the Women Film Critics Circle Awards in 2009. Her performances have been seen all over the world and have over 5 million views online.

In addition to Green Porno, Rossellini is also the author of several books, including Some of Me, In the Name of the Father, The Daughter, and The Holy Spirits: Remembering Roberto Rossellini, and she recently edited the book on her mother Ingrid Bergman: A Life in Pictures.

She currently resides in New York.
