Bryan Greenberg recurs on The Mindy Project as Ben, the new pediatric nurse forced to deal with Mindy and her child’s ever-changing illnesses.
On screen, Greenberg recently starred on the HBO Biopic Bessie starring Queen Latifah and directed by Pariah’s Dee Rees. He also starred alongside Jamie Chung in the independent feature It’s Already Tomorrow in Hong Kong, which has been selected for the Los Angeles Film Festival. Greenberg recently starred as the lead in the independent feature A Short History of Decay alongside Harris Yulin and Linda Lavin, with Milos Forman executive producing. Previous to that Greenberg costarred in Will Gluck’s Friends with Benefits opposite Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis, as well as costarring in The Good Guy with Alexis Bledel and Scott Porter. Prior to that Greenberg starred alongside Kate Hudson and Anne Hathaway in Bride Wars, directed by Gary Winick for Fox. He also starred in Nobel Son opposite Alan Rickman, Danny DeVito, Bill Pullman, and Mary Steenburgen. Additionally, Greenberg was the male lead in Ben Younger’s Prime opposite Uma Thurman and Meryl Streep. Greenberg’s past feature credits include starring in Brian Robbins’s The Perfect Score with Erika Christensen, Chris Evans, and Scarlett Johansson.
On television, Greenberg starred in the ABC drama October Road from Josh Applebaum, Scott Rosenberg, and Andre Nemec. He is well-known for his role on HBO’s acclaimed series Unscripted from Grant Heslov and George Clooney’s Section Eight production company. In addition, he starred as Ben Epstein in the HBO Series How to Make It in America from the creative team behind Entourage and Ian Edelman.
In addition to acting, Greenberg is an accomplished singer, songwriter, and musician. His songs have been placed on Unscripted, Nobel Son, and October Road. Additionally, he performed two original songs as well as a cover song in tribute to the deceased indie musician Elliott Smith on One Tree Hill.
Born in Omaha, Nebraska, Greenberg discovered acting at an early age, pursuing it as he earned his B.F.A. at New York University. He starred in several theater productions at NYU, including Romeo and Juliet, and has performed with the prestigious Experimental Theater Workshop, the Atlantic Theater Company, and the Amsterdam Experimental Workshop.
