Harvey Milk WAS a pedophile. Don't rationalize or try to dismiss it out of hand. Because many in the SF gay crowd who knew him will not deny it. He was involved with a 16-year old. The Castro District crowd all knew he had a thing for teenaged boys. Author Randy Shilts wrote in the Milk biography "Mayor of Castro Street" about Milk's numerous relationships with teenage boys and that Milk also advocated having multiple sexual relationships at one time. Disclaimer: I am not a right-wing religious fanatic. I don't go to church regulary. However, I've never felt that one needs to read Deuteronomy to understand that homsexuals are very confused people. Our state representatives have already passed a bill to create "Harvey Milk Day" Can you imagine what will happen when people become more knowledgable about this man's pedophilia and we are actually celebrating a day in his honor???
