The Riches

i heard that the writers strike started the demise of the Riches, along with Minnie Driver's pregnancy and all that caused big scheduling conflicts that in the end made it impossible to bring back. So like my other favorites without an end, The Wire, Deadwood and Rome The Riches will live only in my what if part of my memory.
I remember when things were simpler and shows like Taxi or Cheers would run for long times and it seems like that happens less and less these days. I may have to force feed myself some Entourage, ugh!

So, seriously, who is the twit that decided that The Riches had to go? This is by far one of the top 5 shows I've seen in this decade. So thankful for HULU. Do the twit bosses read these comments? What can be done to bring this back. Oh, and fire the moron and his (had to be a guy) asskissers that came up with the budget saving, ratings increasing decision. Didn't work at all did it. Idiots

The Riches is a great series and it's been discontinued??? Are there really so many interesting, well-written televison programs available that The Riches could be thrown away like trash? Is FX making so much money on all their other hit shows (??) that they could cancel this great program? That is difficult for me to believe since I don't see many good television programs - much less anything I would consider to be great - anywhere on television - especially cable television. I would compare The Riches to The Sopranos in quality and I'm astonished that it has been cancelled. My hope is that concerned well-vested stock holders in FX will discover this mistake, fire the idiot who made the decision to cancel the program and revive The Riches before all the actors are committed elsewhere. The show has an audience and could be a hit for years - so please bring it back and pick up the story where it was left.

This show is so smartly written and incredibly acted. Trouble at every turn for these very, very likable characters kept me in it for every single moment of the 20 episodes. Eddie Izzard and Minnie Driver are so excellent as Wayne and Dahlia Malloy. The whole show was great and I can't help but feel they cut it off right when it was about to hit its crescendo. It's so terribly unfair that there's no way to find out what happens in the end... Fox really should have stuck with this show. Is it too late to bring it back?? Dmitry Lipkin started work on "Hung", so he probably doesn't have too much interest in resurrecting the series. And while I haven't seen the new show yet, I doubt if its anywhere near as dynamic and enjoyable as "The Riches".

Thanks to Hulu, I have witnessed the greatest travesty in tv history. I can not believe The Riches, Is no longer on the air. This is the greatest show ever, and some of the best acting ever seen on tv. I'm going to out on a limb and compare the writing of this show to Shakespeare.

is it too late to bring this show back....I know the writers strike screwed everything up...I just, I need this show back

This was hands down one of the best shows ever to grace TV. It had a great plot — a family of 'travelers' (gypsies/con artists) who were pulling off posing as a very wealthy family. May sound simplistic, but it was extremely well-done and had its share of '24'-esque nail biter moments. It was smart, funny, touching and dramatic. All the actors did a tremendous job. It fell victim to the writers strike and never returned. Too bad America's so fascinated with reality TV shows or they may have taken more notice of this fine series.
