Description

Eddie Izzard and Minnie Driver play Wayne and Dahlia Malloy, who along with their three children are on the run after stealing money from the extended family bank. An unfortunate accident provides the Malloys with a new identity -- the Riches. A well-to-do "normal family." Seduced by the idea of a bigger life for themselves, and armed with the keys to a new house in a posh neighborhood, the Malloys soon discover that suburban life is more twisted and challenging than any of their previous stings.

I loved this series and am a fan of anything really with Eddie in it.
All the cons going on were hilarious and comparatively different then a lot of things on other series.

Everyone should check out what Eddie is doing now, he just released a DVD from a show he did in Wembley.
It's hilarious and a must see.

So FX ran out of guts and money to produce this cutting-edge drama in 2007-2008, as the global markets crashed. Let's hear it from bringing back the new version - just start it later in time as though the story continued. For sure, The Riches presented back to audiences a tough mirror to look in about the American Dream (think Madoff and frauds such as the Stanford Group), but it's a compelling story line that is worth the investment of a brave production company. Clearly, there is a dedicated audience for this program. It's time and fertile ground to restart The Riches.

Agreed! I have been a fan of his stand-up for a good number of years and I consider him one of the smartest comics going ... highly recommended!

I can't believe they stopped this in the middle of the second season. WOW!!! what a series.
I loved it. With all the dumb reality shows out there, this series was just great. It definitely was HBO material. It kept me wanting to watch more. I watched the whole series on HULU because it was never advertised enough. I never knew about it until after the fact. The whole cast did a great job. I was totally pissed when I realized the 7th episode was the last one.

I completely agree with you! This show was amazing, interesting, intelligent, and edgy, definitely a lot like an HBO or Shotime series. Wish they could have kept going with it!

The fast turning plot, the cast and production is magnificent. In a way similar to The Sopranos, the show makes us like and root for the cats who are outlaws and criminals. This show keeps you at the edge of your seat, it is by far one of the best thrillers of the past decade. The Riches would do wonderfully on HBO or a network that would support it and market it.

I hope it comes back!
