Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles
Description
At the end of "Terminator 2: Judgment Day," Sarah vanquished the Terminator sent from the future to kill her teenage son, John. Sarah and John now find themselves alone in a very dangerous, complicated world. Fugitives from the law, they are confronted with the reality that still more enemies from the future, and the present, could attack at any moment. The Sarah Connor Chronicles reveals what happens when Sarah (Lena Headey) stops running and goes on the offensive against an ever-evolving technological enemy bent on destroying her life, and perhaps the world. Her son, 15-year-old John Connor (Thomas Dekker), knows that he may be the future savior of mankind, but is not yet ready to take on the mantle of leadership that he's told is his destiny. John finds himself inextricably drawn to Cameron (Summer Glau), an enigmatic and otherworldly student at his high school, who soon proves to be much more than his confidante. She assumes the role of Sarah and John's fearless protector. On their trail are not only threats from the future, but an intelligent and tough FBI agent, James Ellison (Richard T. Jones), who soon becomes a powerful ally.

Better than expected
Good acting, solid writing, decent effects. This show could have jumped the shark easily in the first episode, but seems to be getting better. If they can explore deeper themes and concepts beyond what was mapped out in the films, the show could have lasting power. It would be fantastic if they could continue to find creative ways to insert action, so that we are surprised each episode. (Hint: Okay, we've seen enough people pushed through walls already.) This show will hinge on inventiveness. If it gets really good, people will wait until after the strike to watch new episodes.

Degenerating cyborg?
I liked the Pilot episode... but, as time goes on, Cameron (Summer Glau) seems to be losing her saavy. When she & John met, she meshed flawlessly into a high school class... now? The cyborg acts like its circuits have been damaged or something! I think the show has true potential, though, so I will keep watching!

In my mind everything after T2 never happened. Okay it happened but I'm just choosing to ignore it. While there are a ton of issues/ideas that never got play in the movies it doesn't really translate into a tv series. Also I really don't care for any of the actors, especially Summer Glau. They would've been better of with a more conventional beauty than the more exotic looking Glau.

Rating_full Rating_full Rating_full Rating_full Rating_empty Great Show
I enjoy this show. The writers have done a good job paying attention to the details of the Terminator Universe. I only wish that FOX would keep episodes up longer. I missed an episode due to a screw up on my dvr and they already have it removed from the site. You don't have to keep it up forever but keep it up longer than a week geesh.

Rating_full Rating_full Rating_full Rating_full Rating_full More More More !!!
I thought I wouldn't like this show, but boy was I wrong. I'm hooked. The acting the drama are all great. I agree with some of the other reviewers that the show should explore deeper themes and concepts. But most of all I want the whole season to be available online. Please make all episodes available for us fans to see. I'm truly looking forward to seeing more of this show.
