The dubbed version was actually well-acted and I advise experiencing both.
Shuffle is so, for lack of a better cliché, “all over the place,” that I’m still wondering if this was intentional, if the creators set out with the conscious or even UNconscious goal of making one those rare works that is a genuine satire of itself.
Yes, there are naughty bits, but the naughtiness still exudes such a sublime innocence that I can't imagine it harming anyone's budding libido. On an equal and opposite note, the dramatic, fearful moments give off such an intense energy that it's as hard to dismiss them as melodrama.
The humor is funny?, but sometimes it’s even funny! so maybe when I figure that out I’ll be able to understand Rin and the two fathers. They’re clueless buffoons with serious power and influence…is this a lesson on how men are or how they should be?
