THIS MOVIE HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH PULP FICTION, NOWHERE IN THE BALL PARK. I WOULD CHALK IT UP TO A CHEEZY VERSION OF NATURAL BORN KILLERS. GOOD FUN, I WOULD RECOMEND IT. ITS WORTH THE MONEY.
It was entertaining, but it 's whacked, a bit humorous with lots of gore. Something throughout the movie kept me at a distance--you know, being always aware of being a viewer to a far-out scene, not immersed into the plot. Nevertheless, it was a flick I'd recommend. Good acting too.
Certainly falls into the genre of Pulp Fiction, Kalifornia, and NBK, but is very derivative and a bit campy. Sort of "My Name is Earl" meets "True Romance". I liked, it but it is too off-kilter to really work. I couldn't decide at times if it was a spoof or not. Great soundtrack, cool cars, and a quirky cast help keep it afloat. Enjoy the great small role by Peter Fonda as the handicapped hippy(watch for the star-spangled chopper tank in the background lol). Rory Cochrane is a riot as the tweaked out bad guy. This is from one-time director/screenwriter C.M. Talkington. Shame he didn't try again, there is potential here...All in all not a great film but worth a six-pack and a pizza.
This movie was freakin wild. I didnt think it was gonna be as good as it was. I would definitely recommed it to anyone who likes movies about drugs and violence.
I thought this movie was very good. The violence was a little much but it is really had a fun story and it was full of action. Who wouldn't like a movie about two accidental murders that know right from wrong and just sort of get stuck in between? Similar to True Romance and perhaps a little Nature Born Killers.
It was indeed synonomous with the likes of Natural Born Killers or Pulp Fiction. I enjoyed this movie as I enjoyed those movies. I enjoyed it. Good film. Zelleweger is hott!!
Rip-off of at least but, not limited to: Resevoir Dogs (3-way mexican stand-off in car), Natural Born Kilers (Movies playing in background of moving car), & Pulp Fiction (over the top unrealistic witty dialogue)
