She tells the Official (Eddie Jones) that her salary is being taken care of by the government, and she’s there to work on the baby-stealing crimes, which have been happening all around the country. They discover a common thread between the baby snatchings. All the women had been artificially inseminated, and a company known as the Stork Corporation owned all the clinics. They go to the hospital and Darien sees another nurse steal an infant. They follow the nurse to a secluded mountain camp where Alex asks Darien to quicksilver and go inside. The Official steps up to a microphone and orders him to reveal what happened. Hobbes says that he went undercover with Alex and Darien to the post office to solve a series of mail thefts. There, he had become entranced with a Christmas card that played “Jingle Bells” and he and Darien playfully competed for the attention of an attractive postal worker named Amanda (Vanessa Branch). The new Prime Minister of Zerbajan is coming to town for a state visit and officials believe that’s where Perdue is going to make his move. Darien notices a man in a building near the hotel that the Prime Minister is staying in, and he looks like the same person in the photos.
