Rules of the Game

The Sliders (John Rhys-Davies, Jerry O'Connell, Sabrina Lloyd, Cleavant Derricks) are forced to play rough on an Earth where life is a simulated electronic war game.
Episode 2

Double Cross

The Sliders emerge from the vortex in a subway tunnel, with a train bearing down on them. They rush toward the platform, but Rembrandt (Cleavant Derricks) trips, and just as the train is about to crush the group, it stops, victim to the city's planned brownouts. While exploring this world, a beautiful woman, Monique (Mari Morrow), mistakes Rembrandt for his double, and flies him to Los Angeles for lunch agreeing to return him in time to make the slide out. Later, the remaining three are chased by a group of motorcycles, and soon are trapped. One motorcyclist, Logan St. Clair (Zoe McLellan), knows they are sliders, and recognizes Arturo (John Rhys-Davies), whom she thought was dead. She claims that she did not know Arturo well, but his death was a great loss for the program. She takes them to her lab, where she and Arturo worked on the sliding project. Logan points out that a probe to another dimension is returning. It comes in melted, as all the probes seem to do. It seems they can create and track the wormholes, but they cannot control the re-entry coordinates.
Episode 3

Electric Twister Acid Test

The Sliders (John Rhys-Davies, Jerry O'Connell, Sabrina Lloyd, Cleavant Derricks) could pose an additional threat to a world where dangerous tornadoes have forced the population into safety zones. With guest star Corey Feldman.

After an examination at a hospital, Arturo (John Rhys-Davies) tells Quinn (Jerry O'Connell) that he has been diagnosed with a terminal illness. Quinn convinces him to continue sliding with the group, and they land in a San Francisco of the mid-1980s. They have not gone back in time; this Earth rotates faster, causing a slowing of time. Quinn sees a funeral in progress, and realizes it is his father's. He recognizes a boy as a younger version of himself. After the ceremony, Heather Hanley (Leslie Horan) stops to talk to Quinn. She is the boy's home room teacher, whom Quinn had a crush on. At the Mallory house, the young Quinn (Phillip Van Dyke) explodes in rage at his mother, blaming her for losing his dog. While he is out searching, the older Quinn returns the missing dog, posing as a friend of his father's.

The Prince of Slides

While waiting at a hospital, Rembrandt (Cleavant Derrick) is mistaken for the Duke (Clinton Derricks-Carroll) by the pregnant Duchess Danielle (Victoria Mahoney). Thinking she needs a transfusion, he goes into surgery with her. Only later do Quinn (Jerry O’Connell) and Wade (Sabrina Lloyd) find out that it’s not a transfusion, but a transference of the fetus. A news report declares the situation, stating that the real Duke Rembrandt has been missing. Quinn sneaks into the operating room to warn Rembrandt, but he's been sedated. Quinn is grabbed by the Duchess’ aide, Lady Mary (Hallie Foote), and the Lady’s nephew, George Stellos (Dan Gauthier), head of Palace security. Arturo (John Rhys-Davies) intercedes, saying they are the Duke’s new assistants. Later, at the palace, the Sliders visit Rembrandt as he awakens. Arturo explains how an epidemic destroyed women’s ability to complete the pregnancy, and how once men take the fetus, gestation speeds up.

State of the A.R.T.

The Sliders land in city devoid of people, with a purple sky. Coming across a wrecked robot, they see a truck chasing two men, firing laser bolts at them. The Sliders run, also, and just after the men are gunned down, Quinn (Jerry O’Connell) is shot. The truck driver, Paul (Jerry Rector), scans the runners and Quinn. No signs of life. Not noticing the other Sliders, he leaves. The rest of the group rushes to help Quinn, who is reviving. The other two are robots, showing no signs of electronic life. One of them, Deric (Eddie Mills), then stirs, and the Sliders take it to a nearby TV repair shop to work on it. Wade (Sabrina Lloyd) finds a brochure touting the benefits of the Aldohn Robotic Technologies robotic workforce.

Murder Most Foul

In a world governed by the corporate world, the Sliders find themselves standing out in the business suit crowd by their casual dress. Arturo (John Rhys-Davies), enraged when someone spills coffee on him, is quickly accosted by several people in suits, who sedate him and take him away. Arturo is placed under the care of Dr. Bolivar (David Purdham), who brainwashes him into thinking he is Reginald Doyle, a Sherlock Holmes-type detective. He gives Arturo a pocket watch -- a device Arturo is to check every hour to reinforce the hypnosis. At the bar, the bartender informs the others that Arturo was taken to "the evaluation center" for treatment. They corner a doctor at the center, who admits that, like other "fractures," Arturo was taken to the Park for a therapeutic rest.

Paradise Lost

On the coast, a seismologist phones his supervisor with news about some strange readings. That evening, he is abducted by three men and taken to a deserted cove. They strand him down there and something tunneling underground pulls him down beneath the sand. The Sliders land on a beach outside the town of Paradise. While walking to town, Quinn (Jerry O’Connell) intervenes when he sees a man about to attack a young woman, and scares him away. The woman, Laurie (Lara Steinick), is looking for her assistant, Michael (Todd Babcock). She sent him there to conduct geological surveys of the area and he hasn’t checked in since last night. In return for Quinn’s help, she drives the Sliders into town, where Rembrandt (Cleavant Derricks) and Wade (Sabrina Lloyd) take jobs at the local cafe.

The Exodus, Part 2

As Arturo (John Rhys-Davies) listens to radio broadcasts from the dying world, Quinn (Jerry O’Connell) slides into the military base's lab with an unconscious Maggie (Kari Wuhrer) in his arms -- and the Slider's home coordinates recorded in the timer. In the infirmary, Dr. Jensen (Mark Kiely) confronts Quinn, jealous of his wife's feelings toward Quinn. A nurse interrupts, telling them Maggie could have died if Quinn had not intervened. The other Sliders show up, excited about the news that they can go home now. Quinn tells them that they must wait until they have finished the sliding device he promised in order to save some of these people. An argument erupts, with Rembrandt (Cleavant Derricks) accusing Quinn of never thinking of the rest of the group.

They come to a brightly-lit warehouse surrounded by an electric fence. Desperate to find protection from the zombies, Quinn risks electrocution and discovers that the power to the fence is off. As they climb the fence, another zombie attacks Quinn. He wrestles with it and escapes by positioning the zombie into the light. The group enters the warehouse, looking for signs of life.

Rembrandt (Cleavant Derricks) coaxes her to re-tell the story, when Arturo (John Rhys-Davies) was still with them… At night, a creature -- human-like, but hideous -- leaps out of the trees as a search party roams through the forest. They call off the search, figuring the creature has gone underground. The next morning, the Sliders land in the forest, Rembrandt landing in a thorny bush. Arturo helps him out, both getting scratched. Quinn (Jerry O'Connell) points out the planets, lined up in the sky: the gravitational pull must be treacherous. When they come to a clearing where they find several young families playing, the ground quakes and splits open.

On a world where California is part of Mexico, Quinn (Jerry O'Connell) and Rembrandt (Cleavant Derricks) take a "vacation" to Zamora. When they are bumped from their flight back, they luck onto a plane chartered by Kyra (Julie St. Claire). As they takeoff, a military Jeep chases them, shooting at the plane. In flight to Los Angeles (now called Delgado), Kyra tells them the crates she's transporting contain two poisonous tri-adders, whose venom will be used to cure diseases. When one of the snakes slips out of its crate and kills the pilot, the plane crashes into the jungle. Against Rembrandt's wishes, Kyra insists they take the other tri-adder, still in its case, as they head for civilization. Unbeknownst to them, the other tri-adder follows their trail. They come across a field of tobacco, an illegal crop in this world. Realizing that they have stumbled upon a drug king's plantation, they try to run away, but trip an alarm.

As a packed crowd waits for the Gothic band Stoker to take the stage, a stagehand introduces a lovely girl, Mina (Leslie Monique Soule), to the band. The lead singer, Morgan (Ryan Alosio), takes her to the side and buries his fangs in her neck. Later, out in the crowd gathered for the performance, Wade (Sabrina Lloyd) watches the band. In the morning, Maggie (Kari Wuhrer) suggests that they split up to find Rickman (Neil Dickson); Quinn (Jerry O'Connell) agrees, though he's curious about all the missing girls in this city. They leave Wade, who wants to sleep late. At a hospital, Rickman, disguised as a priest, draws fluid from sleeping patients. Quinn searches the hospital, to find these patients now in comas.
