In ""Jailbreak at Junction City,"" they not only capture the two men, but bring in two other members of the gang and their $60,000 in loot. The reward for their honest, law-abiding and brave behavior? The sheriff at Junction City recognizes them as outlaws and arrests them! Finally captured, they are freed by a ranch owner and her two daughters who later are charged with aiding desperadoes. Pete Duel stars as Hannibal Heyes (alias Joshua Smith) and Ben Murphy stars as Jed "Kid" Curry (alias Thaddeus Jones). Vera Miles guest-stars as the ranch owner, Belle Jordan, with Charles H. Gray as her husband, Jesse Jordan, and Cindy and Lisa Eilbacher as their daughters, Beth and Bridget. Heyes and Curry are hired by the tough-talking widow of a prospector to go into hills occupied by unfriendly Indians and bring out hidden caches of gold on "Alias Smith and Jones". In "Six Strangers at Apache Springs," the two ex-outlaws do not get much of the gold, but they do get captured by the Indians. Pete Duel stars as Hannibal Heyes (also known as Joshua Smith) and Ben Murphy stars as Jed "Kid" Curry (aka Thaddeus Jones). Guesting are Carmen Mathews as the widow, Caroline Rangely; Sian Barbara Allen as a nun, Sister Grace; John Ragin as Edward Fielding, a tenderfoot from the East who wants to negotiate with the Indians; and Patricia Harty as his wife, Lucy. Sally Field, who stars in the recurring role of Clementine Hale, the female equivalent of a loveable rogue, on "Alias Smith and Jones" starring Pete Duel and Ben Murphy. Clementine Hale, the only person in the world who has a picture of Hannibal Heyes and Jed "Kid" Curry, who are seeking amnesty for their past crimes, makes her first appearance in "Dreadful Sorry, Clementine". In the episode Clementine attempts to use the picture to force the ex-outlaws into helping her in a $50,000 swindle. Other guest stars are Don Ameche and Rudy Vallee. Barry Shear directed the teleplay written by John Thomas James, Buck Houghton and Glen A. Larson.

Cheated out of his stake, he plots revenge with a borrowed necklace and the help of an old friend, Georgette Sinclair. Then the necklace is stolen. Roger Davis stars as Hannibal Heyes (also known as Joshua Smith) and Ben Murphy stars as Jed "Kid" Curry (aka Thaddeus Jones). Walter Brennan portrays Silky O'Sullivan, Michele Lee is seen as Georgette Sinclair, and Robert Middleton as Verle Wheelwright. Bruce Bilson directed the teleplay by John Thomas James.
