Xosha Roquemore


Born and raised in Los Angeles, Xosha Roquemore received her education at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, where she studied acting.

Roquemore’s film credits include Daniels’ AcademyAward-winning film “Precious,” “Price Check,” “BleeckerStreet,” and “GBF” (Gay Best Friend). She recently wrapped on Whitney Cummings’ directorial debut “The Female Brain”.

Roquemore has worked extensively in theater, including the Stella Adler Theater’s productions of “The Diviners,” “Snowing at Delphi,” “Twelfth Night” and “The Arabian Nights.”

She currently resides in Los Angeles.

Xosha Roquemore stars as Tamra, the practice’s hip, female nurse. She seems to have a very cool life outside of work, but she is constantly being pulled into office shenanigans. She likes to complain and keep it 100 and she somehow always manages to get her way.
