Meghan Rienks is a standout personality and actress best known for her comedic approach to various lifestyle topics and a distinctive honesty with her fans on social media. Her flagship YouTube channel boasts over 2 million subscribers and her stylish Instagram account was recently named one of the Top A-list profiles to follow by Teen Vogue.
Rienks offers unique insight into the industries of fashion and beauty as a correspondent for viral series “Beauty Break” on Clevver Style and Estee Lauder’s comedy-makeup-hybrid channel “ilovemakeup”, but don’t call her a beauty blogger. She connects with fans as a close friend that is eager to give advice, even if it’s mostly self-deprecating. In addition to her role as a trusted lifestyle voice, Meghan flexes her performance muscles via roles in original series, including: “Mr. Student Body President” set to air on Verizon’s Go90 later this year, Hulu’s “Freakish”, “Shipping Julia,” a 6part series from Awesomeness TV in conjunction with Royal Caribbean Cruises and written by Allison Schroeder (Mean Girls 2, 9 0210) and various sketches produced by Hearst Digital Media. She is proactively pursuing acting opportunities in TV and film as part of her goal to build her presence on the traditional side of the entertainment industry.
Meghan’s interests extend into entrepreneurism as well with the launch of Camp17, a brand new summer camp initiative led by Meghan, along with Tyler Oakley, Bethany Mota and Connor Franta, where the influencers will be camp counselors and lead a multi-day/night, outdoor program they’ve custom created for their followers. Meghan’s camp is called “aim” (authentic, inspiration and motivation) under the umbrella of Camp17 and is a girls-only program built around fun activities that promote a healthy self esteem, confidence and performance arts.
She is also teaming up with producer Jack Ferry (Grace Helbig’s Not Too Deep) to launch a new podcast anchored by Meghan that revolves around answering…well-enough…the trials and tribulations of her listeners. Audiences can also expect to see more glimpses into her creative mind through ongoing writing initiatives and her collection of visual poems that shift into a more serious tone to bring awareness around topical hardships that are personal to her and relatable to many people of all ages. Born and raised in Northern California, Meghan currently resides in Los Angeles.
