Ike Barinholtz

Ike Barinholtz stars in The Mindy Project as Morgan, the practice’s male nurse; he brings constant affection and enthusiasm to the workplace. As a reformed ex-con, Morgan now considers Mindy to be his best friend and lives with his grandmother and forty dogs.

On the feature film side, Barinholtz recently wrapped production on Universal’s Mother/Daughter comedy alongside Amy Schumer, as well as Peter Landesman’s political thriller Felt. He was also recently seen starring in Universal’s Sisters alongside Amy Poehler and Tina Fey, Warner Bros.’ Suicide Squad, and Universal’s Neighbors 2. Additionally, Barinholtz wrote the summer action comedy Central Intelligence with his writing partner David Stassen, starring Kevin Hart and Dwayne Johnson. Barinholtz and Stassen are also re-teaming to write an untitled basketball comedy for Universal starring Amy Poehler.

Previously, Barinholtz was a series regular on FOX’s Mad TV for five seasons and had recurring role on HBO’s Eastbound and Down and FX’s The League. He has also appeared on Weeds and Children’s Hospital. He was the star and co-creator of the Spike TV pilot Megawinner and is an alumnus of Amsterdam’s Boom Chicago. Barinholtz’s other feature credits include Neighbors, Meet the Spartans, Disaster Movie, and the indies Shrink, Lock and Roll Forever, and Inventing Adam.

He currently resides in Los Angeles with his family.
