Derek Wilson

Derek Wilson

Wilson was previously seen on AMC’s PREACHER; after extending his role from a couple of episodes to a series regular, executive producers Evan Goldberg and Seth Rogan killed off his character in order to create a lead role on FUTURE MAN. Prior to that, Wilson had a recurring role on the critically acclaimed Sundance Channel series RECTIFY. Additional TV credits include AQUARIUS (NBC) and PERSON OF INTEREST (CBS).

Films include Brian Gottlieb’s OXALIS and THE LAST GIRL as well as Sloane Copeland’s LIFE HACK.

Derek is a classically trained actor who received a Master’s Degree in Acting from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. He appeared on Broadway in MACBETH at Lincoln Center under the direction of Jack O’Brien and served as Ethan Hawke’s understudy in the title role.

Originally from Kentucky, Wilson currently lives in Los Angeles.

Wolf is a futuristic Resistance foot soldier, a bloodthirsty, deadly action hero with a specialty in blowing things up. After years of fighting, he’s desensitized to violence and human emotion. He’s basically an animal; he’s destructive, lacks hygiene and interpersonal skills, but is fiercely loyal to Tiger. Wolf has no respect for Josh and no faith in his ability to carry out the mission. But as Wolf starts to discover the delights of the modern world, it’s his own commitment to the mission that’s called into question.
