Beth Grant

Beth Grant stars in The Mindy Project as Beverly, a former nurse turned libidinous office receptionist. She has a checkered and mysterious past; no one is entirely sure of her real identity.

Known as a Hollywood lucky charm, Grant has co-starred in three Academy Award®–winning Best Pictures: The Artist, No Country for Old Men, and Rain Man. She has twice received the Screen Actors Guild Ensemble Award, for Little Miss Sunshine and No Country for Old Men. She also voiced the Academy Award®–winning animated feature Rango.

Grant co-starred in many popular films such as Speed; A Time to Kill; Donnie Darko; Child’s Play; To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything! Julie Newmar; As I Lay Dying; and Sordid Lives. Debuting in November 2016, Grant plays Lady Bird Johnson opposite Natalie Portman’s Jackie Kennedy in Jackie, directed by Pablo Larrain.

Grant has produced two feature films and a short film starring Academy Award®–winner Octavia Spencer. She is currently co-producing the series Operation Othello, a modern-day adaption of the play by William Shakespeare written by her daughter Mary Chieffo, alongside Julius Tennon and Viola Davis’s JuVee Productions.

Grant has been happily married to Mary’s father and fellow actor, Michael Chieffo, for 31 years.
