SUMMARY

Hulu’s Advertising Sales Research Team is seeking a talented person to help create the future of television and innovate in the advertising and measurement space. The Ad Sales Research Manager will lead projects and analyses to demonstrate the effectiveness of Hulu as an advertising platform that drives measurable results for our clients. The successful candidate will work directly with the Sales team, Integrated Marketing and press to produce sales stories for both internal and external communication. WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Build strong relationships across the organization to distill, disseminate and communicate research results and analyses
  • Work in close partnership with the rest of the research team and integrated marketing to leverage proprietary and syndicated data to create and present analyses for internal and external clients to tell the story of Hulu’s effectiveness to the marketplace and clients
  • Position Hulu as a thought leader in innovative research by mining all sources and creating Hulu Insights to be shared in the press and the marketplace
  • Distill findings from external studies to create POVs and disseminate to the sales staff
  • Work with existing research team and integrated marketing to develop general media landscape presentations, advertiser category information and audience segmentation deep dives
  • Explore and vet additional vendors, data sources and methodologies
  • Establish thought leadership research to bring incremental value to our advertising partners
  • Find new ways to tell stories, ideating innovative research initiatives that bring our audience to life in new ways and create opportunities to differentiate the Hulu experience

WHAT TO BRING

  • BA/BS is communications, data analytics, social sciences or related field required
  • Graduate degree desired
  • 7-10 years media research and / or data analytics experience
  • Experience with, and a strong understanding of methodology, data and systems for matching data sets to demonstrate performance-based response to advertising
  • Expertise in primary research, survey writing and research design
  • Must have a comprehensive understanding of the media business
  • Must have excellent presentation and writing skills
  • Experience with syndicated media measurement and television ratings a plus
  • Must be a team player with the ability to build relationships with both internal and external clients
