SUMMARY

Hulu’s Procurement team is seeking a Procurement Specialist who will be an exceptional addition to our team. As a Procurement Specialist at Hulu, you will be the main point of contact in the Purchasing process for the entire company. The right person for this role will have previous experience in a Procurement function and working knowledge of various eProcurement systems. WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Review requisitions to ensure coding is correct and valid justification is provided; facilitate the approval process and convert requisitions into Purchase Orders
  • Actively engage and interface with Business Units and Finance to fully understand projected spend and ensure that all necessary Purchase Orders are created and maintained proactively
  • Monitor completion of goods/services and ensure receipts are posted in an accurate and timely manner
  • Create and maintain Supplier Contracts and associated PO schedules
  • Interface with departments to make recommendations regarding vendor issues and sourcing requirements
  • Act as liaison between Hulu and vendors in matters related to the Procure-to-Pay process
  • Work closely with Accounts Payable to ensure proper and timely processing of Purchase Order and Non-Purchase Order Invoices
  • Assist in managing all key business users’ usage of the procurement system and resolve issues where necessary
  • Educate and train internal customers about the procurement process, technology and compliance requirements
  • Collaborate with Business Units and team members to constantly strive for increased efficiencies and process improvements
  • Assist in system testing for new Workday implementations

WHAT TO BRING

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 1-3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain (Facilities, HR, IT, Marketing, or Entertainment experience a plus)
  • Previous experience working in a procurement system
  • Basic understanding of Accounting and the Procure-to-Pay Process
  • Proficiency in Excel at an advanced skill level
  • Good working knowledge of overall Microsoft business suite, specifically PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
  • A proactive, self-directed approach with the ability to multi-task, think creatively, and learn quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong work ethic with the flexibility to work extended hours during critical periods, such as system rollouts
  • Exceptional organizational skills, detail-oriented mindset, and a high sense of urgency
  • Must be team oriented with a positive attitude and a fit with our Hulu cultur

NICE-TO-HAVES

  • Experience working with Workday Financials
