Hulu’s Automated Operations team is seeking a Demand Operations Specialist who will be an outstanding addition to our New York team. This role is primarily responsible for partnering with DSPs on private marketplace support and will work closely with our Advanced TV Sales and Automated Operations teams to grow Hulu’s programmatic business.   • Serve as a trusted main point of contact for advanced troubleshooting and debugging efforts across programmatic campaigns
  • Monitor private marketplace delivery and performance
  • Partner closely with certified DSPs to drive incremental revenue
  • Participate in regular status conversations with our SSP partner
  • Act as liaison with Hulu’s Product and Engineering teams
  • Assist in building and maintaining internal troubleshooting documents for commonly reported issues
  • Lead internal programmatic training sessions to new team members
  • Support testing and onboarding/certifying of DSPs
  • Become an authority on our programmatic offerings and value proposition
  • Gain a full understanding of Hulu’s ad platform capabilities


  • Experience in a programmatic role at a DSP, SSP, publisher or technology company
  • Strong understanding of programmatic landscape and offerings
  • Familiarity with DSPs, SSPs, Agency Trading Desks, and Private Marketplaces
  • Deep interest in troubleshooting, finding, and resolving complex campaign-related challenges
  • Customer-service focused attitude and approach
  • Ability to develop trusted relationships with Sales Account Executives and Sales leadership
  • Ability to work well with limited supervision


  • Experience with digital video inventory on over-the top connected TV platforms, mobile/tablet, and video game devices
  • Comprehension of digital video formats (VAST and VPAID)
  • Familiarity with a queue management/ticketing system i.e. JIRA
