SUMMARY

Hulu’s Advertising Sales Research Team is seeking a talented person to help create the future of television and innovate in the advertising and measurement space.  The Ad Sales Research Manager will lead projects and analyses to demonstrate the effectiveness of Hulu as an advertising platform that drives measurable results for our clients.  The successful candidate will work directly with the sales team to understand client measurement needs and challenges and manage our data partners and vendors to execute ROI measurement and downstream behavior of the Hulu audience.  If you’re the kind of person who obsesses over details, thrives in a collaborative environment and jumps at the opportunity to take on new challenges, Hulu may be the place for you.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Leverage proprietary and syndicated data to create and present analyses for internal and external clients to tell the story of Hulu’s effectiveness to the marketplace and clients
  • Will have a desire for working with clients directly; will be able to present and explain new concepts to internal and external clients
  • Working with a variety of vendors and data providers, design research that directly attributes consumer purchase behavior to exposure to ads on Hulu
  • Utilize internal data and 3rd party vendors to develop products to take to market that will help measure clients’ ROI and business outcomes beyond building awareness and intent
  • Manage junior members of the team in execution and management of custom research studies
  • Develop comprehensive turnkey research products that will deliver key performance metrics to current and potential clients
  • In partnership with the AdvancedTV and Advanced Operations team, create a Hulu POV on third party data providers to guide decisions on partnerships and engagements
  • Work with senior manager and outside vendors to develop and manage analyses demonstrating how advertising on Hulu drives client-specific KPIs
  • Develop case studies from ongoing and completed analyses
  • Position Hulu as a thought leader in innovative research by mining all sources and creating Hulu Insights to be shared in the press and the marketplace

WHAT TO BRING

  • 6-8 years of Experience in digital, digital video/TV, or media-focused data businesses
  • BA/BS is communications, data analytics, social sciences or related field required
  • Graduate degree desired
  • Experience with, and a strong understanding of methodology, data and systems for matching data sets to demonstrate performance-based response to advertising
  • Strong knowledge of attribution/ROI control/exposed methodologies including location based, tune-in and 1st and 3rd party data matching
  • Expertise in measurement theory and research design
  • Must have a comprehensive understanding of the media business
  • Must have excellent presentation and writing skills
  • Experience with attribution/ ROI or data providers is a plus
  • Must be a team player with the ability to build relationships with both internal and external clients
