Hulu’s Advertising team is seeking a Senior Product Manager – Ad Insights who will be an outstanding addition to our Audience Data & Measurement product management team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering Spend enabling Insights products for one of Hulu's ads vertical. The ideal candidate is a hands-on product manager, capable of getting deep into the weeds of data, SaaS Advertising facing products, understand competitive offerings, web and streaming technologies with a proven record of managing several product roadmaps simultaneously. This candidate builds fantastic relationships across all levels of the organizations and is recognized as a problem solver that looks to elevate the work of everyone around them.   • Define the vision and strategy for Advertiser facing Insights products and capabilities aligned to overall Advertising Product Strategy
  • Define and incubate Insights platform vision, roadmaps, feature sets, priorities and execution
  • Become the go to person for campaign, audience, frequency and conversion analytics to draw out deep and mutlidimentional insights to help advertisers understand many aspects of Media Spend
  • Has or can develop a deep understanding of LinearTV and addressable Spend, market trends to help draw out necessary insights to enable increased Hulu Spend
  • Evaluate Automatic Content recognition (ACR) technology, vendors and datasets to deliver Hulu powered insights making the value case for Hulu Spend
  • Work with research databases, tools and applications such as Nielsen, Comscore, Scarborough, MRI, Kantar and other analytics tools to build Advertiser Spend enticing insights
  • Define, develop new feature sets to setup Test & Control studies and deliver studies at scale working with broader Advertising Product team
  • Work with engineering and broader Hulu engineering teams to organize big data and plug-in home grown or third party tools as necessary driving towards Insights goals
  • Develop detailed product specifications with user scenarios and acceptance criteria and success measures that are specific to measurement & Insights
  • Use a measurable product development approach. Define success measures for roadmap items and demonstrate measurable impact on those success metrics


  • Undergraduate Degree in Engineering, Math, Data Science, or Operations research
  • Hands on experience with data modeling, different kinds of data structures, and fundamentals of statistics
  • Experience handling media analytics and insights products
  • Experience with web, mobile and web tagging technologies, third party data providers and integrations
  • Deep understanding of Nielsen measurement offerings including Brand studies powered by Nielsen
  • Experience working with big data sets, tools and hands on with SQL
  • 5+ years in product management experience with building and delivering successful products, services and capabilities
  • We prefer highly analytical and collaborative qualities with strong technical, strategic and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize and juggle with contending priorities and make decisions in ambiguous situations
  • Experience utilizing both qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques and familiarity with common data science models and approaches to problem solving. Generally: the ability to plan for what analysts and data scientists need to deliver successfully
  • Experience demonstrating leadership, working with remote teams, self-motivation, accountability, and a standout colleague
  • Experience presenting to and working with senior leaders
  • Knowledge and experience of agile/scrum product development


  • Advance CS degree
  • Hands on working knowledge of SQL and one or more of these DB’s - Oracle, MySQL, Hadoop etc
  • Experience with Tableau, ThoughtSpot or other visualization tools
  • Industry experience in video streaming and OTT
