SUMMARY

Hulu’s Ad Platform Operations team is seeking an Ad Platform Operations Specialist who will be an exceptional addition to our Santa Monica team.  This role is primarily responsible for troubleshooting our programmatic campaigns and offering escalated support for our West Coast Sales and Ad Operations teams.  The right person for this role is highly-motivated, driven by challenges, and will work as a liaison with our Ad Ops team in Los Angeles. WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Serve as a trusted escalation point for advanced troubleshooting and debugging efforts across Hulu’s programmatic campaigns
  • Manage day-to-day private marketplace delivery and performance
  • Participate in regular status conversations with our SSP partner
  • Lead troubleshooting conversations with DSPs
  • Assist in creating and maintaining internal troubleshooting documents for commonly reported issues
  • Lead internal programmatic training sessions to new team members
  • Support testing and onboarding/certifying of DSPs
  • Become an expert on our programmatic offerings and value proposition
  • Gain a full understanding of Hulu’s ad platform capabilities

WHAT TO BRING

  • 3-5 years working in digital media operations
  • Experience in a programmatic role at a DSP, SSP, publisher or technology company
  • Strong understanding of programmatic landscape and offerings
  • Familiarity with DSPs, SSPs, Agency Trading Desks, and Private Marketplaces
  • Deep interest in troubleshooting, finding, and resolving complex campaign-related challenges
  • Customer-service focused attitude and approach
  • Ability to foster trusted relationships with Sales Account Executives and Sales leadership
  • Ability to work well with limited supervision

NICE-TO-HAVES

  • Experience with digital video inventory on over-the top connected TV platforms, mobile/tablet, and video game devices
  • Comprehension of digital video formats (VAST and VPAID)
  • Experience in a queue management/ticketing system i.e. JIRA
