Hulu’s Content Planning & Analysis team is seeking a(n) Manager who will be an exceptional addition to our team. As a(n) Manager at Hulu, you will you will be a subject matter expert on all our content investments including both licensed and originals. You will regularly present findings and provide recommendations to senior management for content deals, collaborate with key business partners on important, cross-functional strategic initiatives, and work with our technology & data analytics teams to develop new analytical tools/capabilities to optimize our content portfolio. Due to the “undefined” nature of the work, the successful candidate will have the aptitude to tackle multiple projects, problem-solve, and efficiently execute deliverable.   • Collaborate with our content teams to drive the prospective deal evaluation process from start to finish, including strategic assessment, valuation analysis, negotiations support, contract review, and executive approval
  • Prepare complex models to project content performance to support content acquisition and original development decision making
  • Prepare deal memos and presentations to build support from senior executive and/or Board for potential transactions and strategic initiatives
  • Prioritize content investment opportunities based on projected performance, financial impact, impact to KPIs, and relative efficiency
  • Collaborate with our technology & data analytics groups to develop new content projection tools and evaluation methodologies
  • Develop a deep understanding of industry trends including key content partners, competitive threats, changes in the marketplace, content availability, and new investment opportunities
  • Participate in various ad-hoc content projects


  • 7-10 years of experience in a highly quantitative / analytical role with at least 5 years of management experience
  • Complex modeling experience, advanced analytical abilities, and expert level Excel skills required
  • Strong work ethic, high sense of urgency, and ability to work extended hours
  • Detail oriented and exceptional organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field with superior academic performance


  • MBA strongly preferred
  • Experience in content, digital media, and/or technology strongly preferred
  • Prior experience querying data in SQL
  • Experience leveraging software to transition recurring reporting into automated dashboards
  • Advanced coursework in Statistics
  • Enjoys going to the occasional TV screening or film premiere
