Hulu’s Finance team is seeking a Senior Manager, Corporate Finance who will be an exceptional addition to our Financial Planning and Analysis (FPandA) team. As a Senior Manager, you will report to the Director of Corporate FPandA and will play an integral role in helping to provide business leaders meaningful financial insights to assess and drive business performance. The right person for this role has proven experience in the role and possesses excellent business acumen, strong analytical and communication skills, ability to partner and work cross-functionally in a multi-facet organization, and sets a high bar for him/herself.   • Coordinate the monthly financial close process and prepare the financial review package to the CFO, including commenting on variances to budget, forecast and prior year
  • Coordinate, facilitate and drive the process for the monthly flashes, quarterly forecasts, and annual operating plans
  • Identify pertinent financial highlights and provide meaningful and timely data insights that will enable business leaders to take actions against the company’s objectives and goals
  • Partner with Business Support operating groups (e.g. Accounting and Legal) to ensure material proposals for new business activity, capital spending, or new project expense spending are appropriately analyzed and valued from a financial perspective
  • Coordinate, facilitate and own the preparation of all corporate finance’s internal and external weekly, monthly and quarterly financial reports, including required timely submissions to our partners
  • Lead a finance system team in all aspect of the financial planning software system (Adaptive), including maintenance, building reports and models, system changes, and provide end-user training
  • Improve and/or create financial planning processes, policies, models, and reports for the assessment of business performance
  • Create high-level business performance executive quality reports to senior leadership team and board members
  • Support ad hoc analyses and special projects such as sensitivity, scenario, what-if analysis and long-range planning, as well as analyzes the financial impact of changes in business and new business opportunities/acquisitions
  • Lead, develop and mentor a team of manager and finance analysts


  • 6-8 years of professional experience with demonstrated success in the key responsibilities for this role
  • Exceptional analytical abilities and proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with senior presence and ability to influence all levels of the organization
  • Exceptional attention to detail and passion for accurate, high-quality work
  • Ability to project manage and drive progress forward
  • Highly competent with utilizing data to drive decision-making
  • A high sense of urgency, ability to multi-task and work under pressured timelines
  • Experience in building and leading successful teams


  • Media, digital, and/or tech experience ideal
  • Experience with using enterprise financial software such as Adaptive and Workday Financials or similar tools
  • Strong accounting knowledge
