SUMMARY

Hulu’s product management team is seeking a Sr. Manager, Product Management who will be an exceptional addition to our advertising experiences team. As a Sr. Manager at Hulu, you will be responsible for helping to build the strategy, define requirements and drive execution for the Ad Platforms group to support our Advertising business, across both internal and external stakeholders. The right person for this role can solve complex problems, communicate solutions concisely, articulate clear paths toward resolution to technical and non-technical groups and passionately drives results. WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Develop, manage and execute on a product vision, strategy and plan for the Advertising business across all devices/platforms (web, mobile, and living room), working with various stakeholder groups across product, technology, finance, sales and legal groups
  • Own the product vision, strategy and execution of our audience data efforts while partnering with local and distributed teams to define solutions for the future of data-activated selling   
  • Own the product vision, strategy and execution of all offline and online audience transactions, including independent audience data sets, advertiser audience data and other proprietary 3rd party integrations to drive the future of ad serving at Hulu 
  • Own the product efforts around the prioritization, definition and the roadmap of our advertising data integrations, our data management platform and rich targeting for the ad server  
  • Build new, custom audience models that are proprietary for Hulu and drive top-line revenue results   
  • Own the product strategy and vision for our 1st part user data
  • Own the product strategy and vision for our 3rd party data integrations, onboarding, advertiser audience targeting and lookalike modeling across the Hulu advertising ecosystem
  • Partner with our AdvancedTV teams to own the strategy, definition and roadmap of new custom audience targeting that satisfies market and advertiser needs  
  • Partner with our integrated marketing team to create new, proprietary audience integrations and sponsorships across all Hulu platforms
  • Partner with our marketing team to ensure alignment between audience definition, audience acquisition and outbound data targeting
  • Partner with our sales research team to build proprietary models of our 1st party audience for deep audience insights
  • Own the product design, definition, strategy and execution of our audience platform and the custom presentation layer for the Hulu DMP
  • Collaborate with other Product Managers, engineering teams and business stakeholders to ensure coordination and completion of various responsible products  
  • Work closely with legal teams and company leaders to ensure industry and privacy-compliant use of data

WHAT TO BRING

  • Computer Science, business degree or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience and success in a product or digital production role with the ability to demonstrate a proven record of success in building new data products for the market
  • 6-8 years of Product Management experience, highly preferred from established technology or digital media company
  • 5+ years of digital and/or TV advertising experience, preferably working in advertising technology and closely aligned to sales organizations
  • 5+ years working extensively with audience data and/or on data management platforms
  • Deep understanding of the core audience currencies in digital advertising: Nielsen, Comscore, MOAT
  • Strong understanding of privacy laws and current policies to ensure we are fully protecting the quality and privacy of our user’s data
  • Highly driven and focused personality who enjoys moving quickly and getting things done
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and writing skills
  • Demonstrate the ability to manage and grow a product team that will get the best out of each member

NICE-TO-HAVES

  • Experience at a top Digital or TV advertising measurement company and/or understanding of the ad measurement industry
  • Passion for television, Streaming Video On Demand (SVOD), or Over the Top (OTT) industry
