SUMMARY

Hulu’s Advertising Platform team is seeking a Vice President of Advertising Platform Partnerships who will be an exceptional addition to our Advertising Platform team. As the Vice President of Advertising Platform Partnerships at Hulu, you will be responsible for leading all efforts related to partner strategy, business development, partner management and support for Hulu’s most important ad technology and media/content partner relationships.  The right person for this role is an experienced proven leader with strong domain expertise in advertising and a history of delivering exceptional results in TV/video advertising. WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Lead the Advertising Partnerships organization, based in Santa Monica, California today.
  • Actively participate at a senior executive level across the Hulu organization to align and coordinate partnership and other business activities.
  • Participate in the creation of Hulu’s advertising partnership strategy, as well as the execution plan for acquiring key components of our advertising platform via partnerships.
  • Properly support our existing ad tech partners through strong partner business hygiene, technical support, and operational excellence.
  • Properly support our existing media and content partners through strong partner business hygiene, technical support, and operational excellence.
  • Motivate, inspire, develop, and curate one of the most talented and capable partnership teams in the advertising business.
  • Leverage a strong ad tech acumen to identify partners to develop industry-leading innovation
  • Create a team structure and development process that rewards quality and velocity so that Hulu may accelerate its market share position in TV/video advertising by delivering market-catching innovation and solutions.
  • Represent Hulu in the market among the ad technology ecosystem, including relationship building and event representation
  • Build an unparalleled operational cadence with partners that allows Hulu and partners to exceed established success goals. 

WHAT TO BRING

  • 15+ years of partnership, business development and partner management experience in advertising
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Understanding of the advertising ecosystem, including technical capabilities required for the TV/video advertising business.
  • Strong familiarity with device, platform, ad tech companies and other participants in the advertising ecosystem
  • Keen ability to identify and hire talent
  • Demonstrated leadership skills

NICE-TO-HAVES

  • Currently located in Los Angeles
  • Held similar roles in other media or advertising companies (TV and/or video)
